Couple of days ago I woke up at 6:30am to catch the metro to Tynemouth beach. The sun was due to rise at approximately 08:30am. I got on the metro at 7:15am on my way to the beach which was roughly 15 stops away.
I arrived on Tynemouth beach at 7:42am wearing my two jumpers, coat, scarf, gloves, hat and of course my two pairs of socks, which I would advise wearing when visiting a beach in the winter. The sun had not risen yet but every minute the sky was changing colour from orange to pink. I took this opportunity to get some reflections in the water.

The time was getting closer to 8:30am. I walked the rest of the beach watching the community of dog walkers and seeing everyone else with their cameras. It was quiet and a good chance to relax.
8:35am: Walking up to Tynemouth village I could just see the start of the sunrise. I had to start running in my wellies if i wanted to capture the beautiful sunrise.

At 8:38am I took my first proper photograph of the beautiful orange sun beginning to rise.
The best part of seeing the sunrise was that I wasn't the only one there standing at that spot, there was about 10 of us all sharing the moment.

Thank you for reading this blog it means a lot to me, I only thought it was right when writing this blog that I listened to The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun. I have seen quite a few sunrises and sunsets but by a mile this was the best one I have ever seen. Any comments or tips would mean a lot to me because I am just new to blogging and photography.
Thank you
