Black & White Part I

I got my Canon EOS 1100D for my birthday in May, with the two lenses. The first type of photography that I was really interested in was black and white. I now have one of my bedroom walls covered with black and white prints and have over 100 prints in my cupboard. The daisies in the little milk bottle was one of then first photographs I ever took.

I then got really interested in abandoned buildings or old buildings that are falling down. (hopefully there will be a blog up soon). These photos are a block of flats which were getting knocked down in Gateshead. I was really interested because if you look close enough you can see the different types of wallpaper. It shows how people had a life in those rooms and lived in them but now the rooms are gone.

The next photographs were taken when I visited Manchester and went to an outdoor skateboard, which is run by lovely people. I would advise checking them out, www.projektsmcr.com. They were very helpful and they gave my the chance to take some pictures of people skateboarding and the place itself.

On the Tyne River there are lots of beautiful bridges which are old and new, but by far High Level Bridge is my favourite. The pattern and the construction is amazing to take photos.

On one of the areas of the bridge there is hundreds and hundreds of locks, locked on to the fence. I found this really interesting and cute knowing couples have come to lock their love for each other.

Thank you very much for reading this blog, comments and tips will be appreciated. You should check out the band The Ifords, who have released an amazing single, Dirty Little Saint. I will hopefully posting another blog soon, thank you
