Brighton Brighton Brighton

We stayed in London for a few days, checking out Camden market and doing lots of shopping. randomly on the floor someone had use chalk to draw Nelson Mandela which I thought was amazing but also how some people didn't even notice it and walked straight across it.

Day One:

After walking down from Brighton station down the never ending long road, we expected to see the sea but no, we didn't. Even standing on the front or meters away from the shore we couldn't see the sea or even the two piers.  Why you ask? A thick layer of heavy fog had arrived, not what we were expecting especially with the hot blazing sun shining bright.

Once we'd finished walking along the beach and barely being able to see, we decided to walk over to the pier.

The deck chairs all along the beach were amazing to photograph even with out a sea view behind. Once at the pier I took the opportunity to get some photos of underneath, since I couldn't get photos of the whole pier.

This was a surreal experience, just being able to see a few meters in front and everyone acting like the fog wasn't there. Walking along the pier it got more and more surreal. It was like standing in the middle of nowhere and seeing nothing for miles.

I loved how people still sat on the deck chairs trying to look at the sea view.

Suddenly out of nowhere, hours later the big wheel started to appear and minute by minute you could see more and more. Then the pier was appearing and more buildings came in view.

The main reason why I wanted to come to Brighton, apart from the real traditional sea side feel, was the sunsets which are meant to be spectacular. I was very worried when we first arrived with the fog but it was looking possible latter on.

I'm very curious to why the majority of stones in Brighton have holes in?

It was getting cold and late so we went and got some dinner at Jamie,s Italian, which I would definitely recommend going to because the food and atmosphere is excellent.

Day Two:

This was our last day here so spent the majority of the day shopping in the Lanes and the North Lanes, but visited the beach for the first time.

Thank you so much for reading my blog and coming along my journey to Brighton. I hope you enjoyed it, any comments or shares would be grateful, thank you again,
